The world’s leading maritime trade fair at Hamburg Messe (SMM) was held on Sept. 6-9, 2016. The SYRAF CEO, while visiting the fair, conducted negotiations with several suppliers of equipment, raw materials and vessel building yards from Northern Europe countries in order to establish joint cooperation with them. The SYRAF CEO also gave a visit to the yard of WELDMEC MARINE in Finland and reached mutual agreements on type of cooperation and transfer of experience. It is noteworthy that Germany’s SMM with its more than 2,600 participant companies over an area of 90,000 square meters hosted 55,000 visitors from all around the globe and was considered as the topmost global maritime fair due to its quality, arrangements, and number of participants and visitors.
The CEO’s visit to SMM was along SYRAF’s strategy to create an effectual communication with international maritime companies so as to transfer the latest know-how and technologies required for maritime industries.
