The first IRAN SEA EXPO was held from 5 through 8 June. Attended by domestic and foreign companies at the main hall of Imam Khomeini Mausoleum, Tehran, IRAN SEA EXPOSITION put on display capabilities and accomplishments of maritime society in such various fields as marine transportation, ship construction, offshore industries, sea and port services, marine meteorology, electronics and telecommunications, marine tourism, topography, hydrography, marine search and rescue and fishery.
As the only Iranian brand of maritime equipment production and an active company in the manufacture of specialized vessels, FANAVARAN SYRAF had a strong appearance in the EXPO. Ordered by Amin Investment Company, SYRAF’s oil pollution collecting vessel was unveiled by Eng. Akhundi, the estimable Minster of Urban Development and Eng. Saeedi, the honorable president of Ports and Maritime Organization.
The EXPO was attended by almost 150 domestic and foreign companies as well as various national and international maritime organs and organizations from Iran and 12 other foreign countries to introduce their advances and capabilities in various maritime industries. The EXPO provided SYRAF the best opportunity for introduction of its latest advances and particularly its new vessel specialized in removing oil pollution and other wastes from water surface. This vessel was unveiled by the deputy of Ministry of Urban Development, some managers of Ports & Maritime Organization, and the deputy of Environment Department.
